What is Explore Eden?

Explore Eden is a camping and glamping app based in Northwest Arkansas. It gives private landowners a platform to monetize their properties by allowing guests to book and camp on the land. We are in our beta release version of the app, meaning that it is currently being tested by users like you to optimize user experience and find any internal issues with it. As we receive feedback from our users about likes, dislikes, bugs, etc., we will send out app updates accordingly. We plan to roll out a new version of the app in Spring 2022, which will come with more features, a cleaner user interface, and a better experience overall, based on the feedback we receive from all of you.

How many sites are available to choose from?

Explore Eden is launching with only a few sites pre-built into the app. However, we have a list of hosts who have been waiting for the app to be released so they can add their own properties. You can expect to see more sites available every week, and if you own land, you can list it with us as well! We will primarily be available in NWA, with a select number of sites listed outside of the region. For those sites, certain features will be unavailable until a later date.

What is “Glamping”?

Glamping is short for “glamorous camping.” It is an upgrade available for most of our campsites. When you select the upgrade for your trip, you will arrive at your site with a fully-furnished canvas bell tent set up for you by Explore Eden team members! It will come with up to two inflatable mattresses with bedding and pillows, and furniture decor to give you a luxury experience while you relax in nature. Don’t worry, we will also disassemble it for you once you leave.

What amenities are available at the campsites?

Features are unique to each campsite. Some hosts will have sites that have access to a water pump, electricity, and restrooms, while others will be primitive sites with minimal amenities. For information on a certain site, check out its Site Overview or message the host.

What are the rules for camping with Explore Eden?

Similar to amenities, rules are specific to each host and their sites. Hosts will set their own rules, such as Check-in/Check-out times, maximum number of guests, age limit, pets, etc. Check out the Site Overview or message the host to learn more information.

Can I use Explore Eden for more than just camping?

Yes! If you would like to host a birthday party, group retreat, or any other event, contact Explore Eden Support within the app or message info@exploreeden.com and we will connect you with a location on our platform best suited for your needs.

For Land Hosts

How do I become a land host?

It’s easy! Go to the “Guest Profile” tab on the app and click the “Become a Land Host” button. It will direct you to the “Host” side of the app. From there, you will go to the “Manage Sites” tab to add your site, rules, and information. Once it’s approved by Explore Eden, you will be able to start hosting guests!

How do I get paid?

Once you become a host, there will be a place to add your bank account information. Our payment platform is “Stripe” and we will use it to direct deposit your funds into your bank account. Hosts keep the nightly rate they set for their sites, minus a service fee. For glamping upgrades, Explore Eden will compensate hosts as well. 

Can I set my own availability for my sites?

Yes! There will be an option to set available dates for each of your sites. You can find this on the “Calendar” tab as a host. You will be able to view upcoming trips and edit the availability according to your needs. By default, all dates are set to be available for booking by guests.
